HELP PLEASE

Very new to this GPS stuf and having some trouble getting everything working.

I've got Blumax 4044 GPS data logger I want to use with BT747.  Here's what I've done so far.

connected the blumax gps logger to a usb port.

installed the usb drivers that came on cd rom with the blumax

started bt747 can pressed connect button on log operations screen

 

all the gps device data is no longer greyed out but it still reads 'unknown'  and the download button doesn't seem to do anything.

i worked it out.  wrong com

i worked it out.  wrong com port!  here's the solution:

go to device manger and check which port number changes when you turn on and off the gps device ( mine was com 6)
