I have selected the device in the device protocol off settings, when i convert no data is saved and the terminal shows lots of invalid data. Any suggestion please?

For conversion you need to

For conversion you need to set the device type specifically (on the right of "cponvert to").

The reason is that in case you own different device types that you might be converting logs from different devices.
