1 missing waypoint

Hi,

Holux GR245 exports wrong elevation data (-48m MSL)

My GR-245 is working fine, but elevation is always around -47.8 to -47.9 m MSL. That can't be true.

The real altitude and altitude difference for tracks is displayed in the device, so I know it DOES log elevation data.

Any ideas?

No multiple Tracks in GPX + converting GPX to Google-Maps-HTML

Hi,

I am happily using bt747 with my Holux m-241 logger for quite a while now.
Since I just startet using bt747 more often I have the following three questions / feature requests:

1.: When I use the Holux m-241 .bin file (containing several tracks) as input and convert it to a GPX then the GPX-file contains only a single big track. The several tracks are combined to one big one.
Is there a way to conserve the division into several tracks in the GPX file?

Holux M-1000C and Holux GPSport 245

Holux decided to break compatibility with the Holux M-241 and they implemented for fairly mysterious reasons a slightly different log format and new commands in their serial protocol, while not supporting some of the Holux M-241 commands.

BT747 has improved support for these devices now (1.68.24+). To properly decode the log files, you need to set the device type to 'Holux GR245' (next to the convert button).

The serial protocol is under implementation by 'Robert'. Due to the extensive changes this protocol will be available in 2.X versions only. In the mean time, most of the commands continue to work. It may be that the reliability of the standard erase command is not very good for the Holux M-1000C, but it still works and may require a power cycle to connect with BT747 again.

For a description in French of the Holux GPSport 245, see xens's page.

How to kill a stalled BT747 in Mac OSX

I’m 99% of the way there with my Holux talking nicely over bluetooth to my mac via the Version 1.60.11 of the BT747 software all thanks to this terrific instructions over at trick77.com.

My problem comes with trying to shut BT747 down. If it hangs or seems to hang I try to quit it but no matter what I have a waba.applet.Applet icon in my dock and no force quitting will get rid of it till I reboot. Once this has happened, there is no way to reconnect to the Holux until I’ve rebooted.

Is there some Java magic I need to know?
